Rave Reviews for RoundRocks Fly Fishing Guides...

Don't take our word for it: Check out why our clients rave about their RoundRocks fly fishing guide...and what makes their Utah guided fly fishing trips so unforgettable.

I went fishing with Clarence last year. I had a few years of experience fishing in other parts of the country, but never in Utah. I booked a trip with Clarence to learn the spots on the Provo River. I didn’t expect to learn any new techniques, but that’s what happened. Clarence has to be the most experienced guide I’ve had. He showed me some simple things to improve my cast and the presentation of my fly. He was super nice and we got along great. I found a new fishing buddy in a new area. Thanks!

I had a blast with Clarence! He gets you where you need to be--the right spot at the right time with the right fly. The experience was almost spiritual for me...small stream, beautiful fish. Clarence knows where the fish are. He has it mastered. I wish I could get out with him every day!

Bryan, Vic, Trent, Clarence, Dane, & Don,

I just wanted to take a minute to give you a sincere thank you for all the fishing help while I was living in Logan. Everyone at Roundrocks, from the guides to the staff at the store was great. They all love fishing as much as I do and that passion was evident in our discussions. It was so nice to have a shop with exceptional gear, remarkable fly selection, and most importantly staff knowledge at my disposal.

I have been fishing most of my life, but taking a guided trip with Clarence and Don allowed me to get some one-on-one instruction and was one of the best things I could have done. We had a great time on the water and the fishing was incredible. I caught the biggest rainbow trout of my life on that trip.

After the trip with Clarence and Don and fishing on my own all over Cache Valley, the instruction paid off. With lots of practice my success rate shot up, but at every hiccup & tactical challenge along the way the guys at the shop took the time to make sure I knew how to change my approach or encourage me to try again.

I can’t wait to get back to Utah. Along with the Logan River and the Blacksmith’s Fork, Roundrocks will remain an important chapter in my fishing life. Keep up the great work and if you get down to Houston, bring your eight weights, shrimp patterns and Clouser minnows.

Tight Lines,

Andrew
